Job Description SummaryThe Digital Solutions Specialist is primarily responsible for coordinating and conducting Applications Training to end users, including PACS administrators, technologists and clinical stakeholders. The Solution Specialist should have a strong understanding of radiology workflows and will be responsible for being the subject matter expert on PACS and Radiology department operations that involves the Imaging IT product portfolio inclusive of PACS, VNA and Imaging Analytics within the GEHC Digital Canada business. This position takes an active role in promoting Digital solutions and supports the commercial team by providing demos and presentations to potential customers and works with engineering in providing feedback for product improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct Applications Training to Physicians, Technologists and PACS administratorsProvide assistance in the implementation of Radiology IT (PACS) software at a client’s facility.Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and Software effectiveness.Support PACS Project Management in all new installations, including data flow and workflow analyses.Structure customers’ preferred user interfaces, hanging protocols and provide best workflow recommendations with our software solution.Organize training procedure manuals, course materials to effectively train end users.Prepare and complete required reports and documents (i.e. Field Maintenance Reports, Teamwork completed tasks, etc.) in a timely manner.During the pre-sales process, support the development of the optimal workflow solution.Work with Sales when required to perform remote or onsite demos.Act as the primary clinical subject matter expert for Tradeshows and industry events requiring demonstrationsOperate in a manner consistent with company policiesAssist in training new Healthcare Digital personnel as requiredAbility to operate independently under diverse work situations with a high degree of complexity.Frequent exposure to hospital environmentEstablish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers

Required Qualifications

Multi-year experience in Radiology or engagement with supporting / implementing related Clinical Imaging software in a Hospital environment.Proven experience as a trainer or analyst for clinical imaging software preferred.Strong background or desire to learn all medical imaging workflowsStrong background in PACS implementation and / or administrationFamiliarity with HL7, DICOM, HIS, RIS, EMR, PACS, etc.Working knowledge of Windows 10, and Microsoft Office ApplicationsMust have good analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environmentsFrequent travel required up to 50% of the time.Valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordKnowledge and experience in Healthcare Information Technologies (Networks/Hardware, Software) and, ideally, analytics.The ideal candidate has previous experience in Radiology or Cardiology IT solutions with a proven track record gained within a similar Healthcare technology company or healthcare provider.

Bachelor's Degree in technical or clinical area or equivalent experienceRegistration in an imaging field such as radiology, Nuclear Medicine, cardiology, CT or MRI.Knowledge, insights or experience in Cardiology IT solutionsOutstanding oral and written communication skillsProfessional attitude with strong customer relationship skillsMust be able to work both independently and in an established team settingCandidates must be able to cultivate and leverage Business, Clinical and Technical relationships at all levels.Experience with preparing for and delivery presentation to customer.Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales processBilingual French/English an asset
