Job Description SummaryThe Digital Account Manager is responsible for selling Digital solutions including formulating and developing market strategies and tactics required to drive business objectives for the Digital and Imaging IT product portfolio inclusive of Cardiovascular IT, PACS, VNA and Imaging Analytics, within the GEHC Digital Canada business. This multi-disciplinary role combines technical, clinical and commercial skills as a portfolio expert to source, develop, and present solutions for strategic sales opportunities across Canada and within the various GEHC Account Communities.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesAct as Digital Imaging Specialist and product expert for the GE Healthcare Digital (HCD) business in Canada focusing on assigned territory and / or accounts.Prospect for new business in addition to growing and maintaining our existing customer portfolio, focusing on customer success and solution adoption.Develop account and territory plans and leverage the broader GEHC Account community to discover prospective client needs and position GE solutions to win & deliver positive outcomes.Develop long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identity and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needsGenerate proposals, prepare sales quotations, and lead customer meetingsUnderstand, analyze and specify customer needs and requirements and work in collaboration with Solutions Architects to design relevant solutions.Responsibilities include strategic and tactical sales planning, showcasing product capabilities, assisting in sales training, customer profiling, account maintenance, and local trade show management.Annual achievement of order and revenue targets for both equipment and service.Responsible for providing feedback to GEHC Digital leadership on field concerns, issues and requirements.Communicate effectively with members of the GEHC Canada team (and internal stakeholders) in order to maximize orders, sales and margin potential and communicate leads to relevant colleagues.Organize and lead product/solution/service demonstrations and site visits in cooperation with Sales Support, Product Management, Consultants, etc.Track the market effectively and provide accurate current and forecast data using information tools available (e.g. Salesforce.com).
Required QualificationsThe ideal candidate has previous experience in Cardiology and Radiology IT solutions with a proven track record gained within a similar Healthcare technology company or healthcare provider.5+ years of consultative commercial experience in healthcare industry within the healthcare Digital and IT solutions environmentKnowledge and experience in healthcare Information Technologies (Networks/Hardware, Software) and, ideally, analytics.Have an understanding of clinical workflows within Cardiology particularly invasive, interventional, EP, and EchocardiographyHave an understanding of clinical workflows within Diagnostic ImagingCandidates must be able to cultivate and leverage Business, Clinical and Technical relationships at all levels.Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound customer solutions.Willingness to travel 25-50% within your specified account/geographic region with occasional overnight stays, depending on geography and business need
Desired CharacteristicsBachelor's Degree in technical or clinical area or equivalent experiencePrevious healthcare high-end capital equipment sales experience or customer facing roles in applications support with special consideration for Healthcare ITKnowledge, insights and a network within the Canada digital healthcare marketDemonstrated ability to work independentlyAbility to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organizationExperience with preparing for and delivery presentation to customer C-SuiteExperience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales processStrong communication and clear-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messagesKnowledge of provincial Ministry of Health and ehealth Radiology and / or Cardiology marketsBilingual French/English an asset
